If you're interested and have the time, I'll explain why the Hot Streak Blackjack Strategy was developed and give you some detail about how it works." I've been playing blackjack for more than 40 years and my early experience confirmed what I'd learned in a number of strategy books...the only way to really win at blackjack was to count cards and increase your bet when the point count was in your favor. But with early shuffle, multiple decks, and continuous shuffling machines, counting cards is virtually impossible in today's casino environment. And if you do become proficient at card counting, casinos will ask you to leave the premises.

So how can you win and not count cards? Progression betting systems are not the answer because of their high risk and/or philosophy of returning to the original bet at the end of a sequence. Playing basic strategy with flat betting also isn't the solution because it doesn't exploit hot streaks. In addition, it's difficult playing the correct basic strategy with the varying number of decks and different table rules in any given casino.
